i LOVE stroke-inducingly brilliant cooking skills! presently i am in dc, waiting out the worst storm the district has seen in 25 years. i was planning to fly out to munich tomorrow to meet up with my boyfriend and roll to his parent's home for the *first time ever*. a bavarian mother? stroke-inducingly brilliant cooking skills? check. your writing made me laugh and then my smile turned upside down as i heard the local dc nbc affiliate weatherman mutter the words THUNDERSNOW. really?!? my flight has been canceled. i am having some wine. i long for holiday madness with those i've never met before. instead i will listen to my bloody valentine and wish there was an additional track on "isn't anything" called thundersnow to calm my frayed nerves. cheers.
