Jesse Thomas – Hazel EP

post brought to you by: dyson

I’ve only heard one track by the twentysomething artist Jesse Thomas and I’m sold.

“You I Want” from her new EP Hazel sells itself within the first 30 seconds. Blunt, to the point, and amazing sounding. But that isn’t where it ends. The rest of the track goes on to unveil even more brilliance in her sound and lyrics.

If you’re going to be at SXSW this year, be sure to check this woman out. I have no idea why shouldn’t be up on that Grammy stage the other night. “You I Want” could blow the smoke off of most of what we heard.

Have a listen to “You I Want” and tell me if I’m crazy. I’ll take the criticism if I am, but at least give it a solid run through.

Check out her latest tour dates and see if you’ll be able to catch any. And let me know how the show is. I’m pretty sure she won’t disappoint.

I agree – it’s a good catchy song. I like the tone of her voice – different from what you hear out there right now.
